N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Patriot Guard will be putting on their 9th Annual Memorial Ride on June 19th and 20th in Jamestown.

Ride Captain George Quigley stated that the Patriot Guard was put together to protect soldiers killed in action that are returned home.

Between 300 and 500 members of the guard are expected to come to Jamestown for the weekends event and ride. Michel Grotrian is also with the guard and stated that the event will be a great chance for individuals to learn about local sacrifices.

State and Local Dignitaries will be in attendance for the dedication of a memorial on Friday evening at the Jamestown Civic Center.

The ride will be held for individuals that suffer from PTSD and Suicide Prevention. Booths will be set up during the event for everyone to learn more about both things.
