CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Three Valley City businesses will receive Retail Image Enhancement grants for remodeling.

Appliance City owner Daryl Stensland said the money will be used to build a new front door near the center of the building.

Burger King Manager Sue Olson said the grant will be used for remodeling the lobby, repair the parking lot and upgrade outdoor lighting.

The owner of Valley Flooring Scott Walby said the money will help purchase a new sign and to build a rock façade to make the front of the business look more attractive.

The grants are $7,500 apiece and were approved unanimously by the Valley City Commission on July 21.
