N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center was established when local artists wanted a way to display their artwork and share it with the community back in 1964.

And 51 years later, the Arts Center prepares for their 51st annual arts show. Executive Director of the Jamestown Arts Center Cyndi Wish stated that those artists basically established the grounds for what the Arts Center has become today.

Wish pointed out that local and regional artists will bring a wide variety of artwork to the community to display for free. Nearly 40 different artists will be featured during the event. The opening reception has been planned for August 29th and will be free and open to the community.
