N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Foster County Extension Agent Joel Lemer of Foster County was recently awarded the 2015 Achievement Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents.

The award was presented at the annual meeting and Professional Improvement Conference held in Sioux Falls, SD. The award is given to agents that have 10 years or less experience in Cooperative Extension and have shown excellence in the field of Extension Education. Only two percent of the county extension educators receive the award every year.

Lemer’s programming emphasis is in youth development, community development, agronomy and succession planning.
