N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After receiving an ArtPlace America Grant, visible progress is now being seen on the Jamestown Arts Park.

According to Cyndi Wish, the Executive Director of the Jamestown Arts Center, work had begun near the end of July on clearing the area on 1st Avenue North for future pathways. The flowers and shrubs are gone, but they are making way for the final stages of the development at the park. Here’s Executive Director Cyndi Wish.

Nearly eight years and several fundraisers later, the final landscape design has commenced. The goal for completion is September 2016.
