N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – U.S. Congressman Kevin Cramer has announced that he will join leaders from the U.S. Geological Survey and other state and local officials for the 50th anniversary ceremony at the USGS Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center.

The ceremony for the event established in 1965, the center has led the way in Great Plains studies including waterfowl and grassland management. Cramer pointed out that the USGS NPWRC is an internationally respected center of excellence in migratory bird and wetlands research in the Prairie Pothole Region. Cramer will join USGS Acting Director Suzette Kimball, Jamestown Mayor Katie Anderson and Representatives for Senators John Hoeven and Heidi Heitkamp during the event on August 21st at 10:30 AM.
