N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liner football ran all over Turtle Mountain Community High School in their first West Region game of the season. 

Valley City rushed for 433 yards on 36 attempts for 7 touchdowns on the ground, en route to a 59-6 win over Turtle Mountain. Nate Rodriguez lead the running attack with 180 yards on 5 attempts and 3 touchdowns. 

Noah Plagens had two interceptions in the game, while Drew Oberlander had two sacks for the Hi-liners. 

Valley City is now 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the West. Turtle Mountain falls 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the West. 

The Hi-Liners face Dickinson Trinity next Friday night from Hannah Field at 7 p.m.

8-0 – Eli Allen rushed for a 5 yard touchdown in the first quarter. (2pt conversion was successful from a Gabe Brown run)
