CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) More than 500 people registered for the Let’s Walk Valley City event held September 12 to promote a healthier life through exercise and good eating habits.

More than 25 booths were set up some near Jefferson School and other at Pioneer Park to walk the 2.36 mile stretch between the two locations.

Here are the prize winners:

Nicole Gordon won a Fit Bit from CHI Mercy Health.

Amber Olson won a pair of ASICS GT 1000 tennis shoes from Bongs Bootery.

Tim McPartland won a one month family membership to the Fitness Center in Valley City.

Jeanie Watkins won a cholesterol screening from City County Health District.

Heidi Beierle and Elizabeth Krueger won a 2016 ON THE MOVE membership.

Tucker Johnson won a 20 inch boys bike from Handy Hardware & Rental.

Emilee Olson won a 20 inch girls bike from ON THE MOVE.

And Reis Kriewald won the AmericInn Swim pass.
