N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A vote for the Jamestown Public School District to initiate a million bond referendum for renovations in the school district has created some burning questions for voters.
Superintendent Robert Lech says the vote and information with it have generated many good questions, but there are roughly six questions that are more frequently asked. Questions ranging from deferred maintenance and what would happen to Washington Elementary are among the more inquired about issues. Lech stated that there are plenty of ways to get more information and get answers.
Lech pointed out that his job is to inform voters of everything before they hit the polls in the upcoming vote.
Early voting will wrap on on Monday, September 28th. The official vote date will be September 29th from 7 AM to 7 PM. Individuals that live in the Jamestown Public School District will be allowed to vote, both rural and in city.
