N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The King and Queen have been crowned and the weeks festivities are prepared for the 2015 University of Jamestown Homecoming.
Numerous alumni activities are prepared as well as student events at the University to celebrate this year’s homecoming. The day kicks off with Alumni Days registration on Friday, October 9th. A Booster Club Luncheon will be open to the public this Friday at Noon. Coordinator of Special Events Morgan Bossman stated that it will be a chance for individuals to learn about the athletics at the University.
Following, several alumni events are scheduled including a baseball game, basketball game and volleyball game. At 7:30, a Homecoming Band and Choir concert will be held on Friday evening at 7:30 PM. Director of Student Activities John Lynch stated that the concerts are always great.
On Saturday, a street fair featuring bouncy houses, food and games for everyone will be from 9 AM to 12 PM on Allen Field at the University. A Booster Club Tailgating Party will be from 11:30 AM to 1 PM and then the Jamestown Jimmies take on the Dickinson State Blue Hawks at 1 PM.
