The Bismarck National Weather Service has been tracking winds across the state today and so far, the highest wind speeds have been found in Jamestown and Carrington. According to the service, Jamestown and Carrington have both seen 67 mph winds. Highest wind speeds since the wind picked up were found in Moffit with 75 mph reported.

Other areas that continue to see high winds include Oakes with 59 mph, Devils Lake with 58 mph and Grand Forks with 56 mph. The North Dakota Highway Patrol has urged residents and motorists to travel safe today.
