N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is urging all motorists to travel with care today.
High winds will continue through the state with gusts potentially reaching 60 mph. The heaviest gusts are appearing in central and southeast North Dakota. High profile vehicles, long-load type vehicles and permitted over-dimensional vehicles need to be aware of restriction movement laws.
Law restricts movement for these vehicles when wind or other conditions may cause the vehicle or attachment to swerve, whip, sway or fail to follow in the path of the towing vehicle. Call 701-328-5128 for more information.
