N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Foster County Emergency Manager has announced that the county will be a full scale exercise on November 13th for the entire county.

The exercise will allow responders to get hands on practice and enhance coordination with others in a simulated and controlled environment.

“The idea behind doing full scale exercises is to identify areas that may need work and to coordinate with partnering agencies and to develop a cohesive solution for those areas. The county is required to participate in a minimum of three exercises a year; only one needs to be a full scale,” stated Foster County Emergency Manager Jess Earle.

The exercise will be held near Bordulac at around 8:15 AM. Responders will be called to a multi-car accident and simulated anhydrous ammonia leak. Because it is a simulated exercise, individuals will not need to call 911.
