N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Humane Society celebrated Adopt A Shelter Dog month during October and had a high number of pets go out.

James River Humane Society Board President Matt Opsahl pointed out that the group normally has between 8 to 10 dogs adopted each month, but saw a total of 18 adopted for October.

Opsahl pointed out that the shelter is always full of pets up for adoption, and he hopes the upward trend of adoptions continue.
