(NewsDakota.com) – The LaMoure Loboe volleyball team is headed to their second state tournament in three years. They finished second in 2013 and have run off a record of 35-2 this season.

They have three starters from that team that reached the title match two seasons ago, Anna Holen, Jackie Meiklejohn, and Katrina Hoff. The Loboes rolled pasted Medina/PB and South Border last week in the Region III semifinals and championship to claim the title.

The effort of winning Region III locked them into the No. 4-seed where they have drawn Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page in the opening round. Two teams seeded ahead of them, Hankinson and Our Redeemer’s, counted for their only two losses.

First serve is scheduled for 8pm on Thursday night from the Minot State Dome. Coverage of the game can be found on TED FM 98.3 and NewsDakota.com.
