N.D. (AP) – The North Dakota Development Fund awarded funding to two projects at its November board meeting.
Fargo-based Epic Welding and Manufacturing Inc. was awarded a $310,000 finance package with Bank Forward in Fargo to buy a commercial building and equipment.
Jamestown-based Premier Refinery LLC is getting $250,000 to help fund equipment and working capital.
The Development Fund is a loan program within the state Commerce Department. It was created in 1991 as an economic development tool for new or expanding primary sector businesses in North Dakota.
Primary sector businesses are those that create new wealth, such as manufacturers and food processors.
