N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning Jamestown residents of a convicted sex offender that has moved within the city.
The department reports that Mark Christian Palmer, 63, has recently moved to 106 4th Avenue Southwest in Jamestown. He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee. Palmer was charged with Gross Sexual Imposition in 2001 when he fondled a 10 year old girl during a family holiday. He is currently on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation.
Palmer is not wanted at this time by police. He is currently serving his sentence impose by the court. Any attempt to use this information to harass, intimidate or assault the offender will result in immediate prosecution.
