M.N.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals Varsity Wrestling team competed at the 14th Annual Clash Wrestling Dual Tournament last Friday and Saturday for the first time in school history.  The National invite only tourney had 32 teams from across the nation competing.  The Cards had a tough day on Friday dropping all three duals, but came back the second day to win three duals and finish in 29th place.  Below are the results:

Friday:

Buchanan, California 71  Carrington 0

Mesa Mountain View, Arizona 32  Carrington 24

Victor Valley, California 42  Carrington 33

Saturday:

Carrington 46  Lincoln Way Central, Illinois 30

Carrington 46  Rochester John Marshall, Minnesota 22

Carrington 53  Rio Rancho, New Mexico 20

Carrington finishes in first place in the eighth bracket, 29th overall.  Buchanan High School from California won the tourney.
