N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department had a busier year in 2015 and are off to a busy start of 2016.
In the most recent run report released by Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department was called out to a total of 296 calls in 2015, up from 268 total calls in 2014. Calls ranged from fire alarm activation to small fires throughout the end of December and into January. Below is the full report including dates, times and descriptions of each call.
Call No. 281 December 13th, 4:04PM, ready squad responded to 1509 10th St NE, Jamestown High School, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-systems malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.
