S.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City State University picked up a crucial 66-55 win over Dakota State University in North Star women’s basketball on Saturday night.
The Vikings (15-9 overall, 8-3 NSAA) were paced by Mackenzie Huber with a game-high 17 points.
Courtney Dixon and Lexi Lennon each recorded double-doubles on the night for VCSU as well. Dixon finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Lennon scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Courtney Hulstein led the Lady T’s (14-13 overall, 6-5 NSAA) with 11 points on the night.

Men’s Game – Dakota State 76 VCSU 72
Dakota State University held off a late run from Valley City State University to improve their winning streak to four straight games.
The Trojans (14-13 overall, 8-4 NSAA) were led by Kyle Kilgore with 23 points, while Adam Hofer added another 19 points.
Jayden Ferguson scored a team-high 20 points for the Vikings (19-8 overall, 7-4 NSAA).
