(NewsDakota.com) – The Carson Wentz-hype train made its latest stop as it steams toward Chicago for the draft on April 28th. Wentz was in Fargo for his Pro Day and there were 18 different NFL teams represented. All 32 were credentialed, but snow in the midwest held up some travel plans.

Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson was the only NFL head coach to make an appearance. The Browns hold the second overall pick and are expected to select a quarterback, despite the fact they just signed Robert Griffin III this afternoon.

Wentz participated in most of the measurable workouts during the combine and senior bowl, so his main activity was throwing 65 passes that were scripted. He unofficially only threw three incompletions and one came after Browns OC Pep Hamilton doused the football with water.

NDSU OT Joe Haeg is also expected to get drafted in April, but he was unable to participate in all of the drills as he is still dealing with an injury suffered at the Senior Bowl.

University of Jamestown LB Jarelle Miller got an opportunity to get in front of the scouts. “I came out fast and hair on fire,” Miller said when asked if the nerves were a factor.

We don’t know any of Miller’s times or measurables, but he did get talked to by a New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings scout following the individual workouts.
