N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released more information on a crash that was originally reported to have been near Enderlin early Friday morning.

52 year-old Tracy Nicholson of Fargo was traveling eastbound at around 6:00 AM when she drifted into a ditch. Nicholson drove the vehicle back onto the road, overcorrected, and caused the vehicle to roll. The suburban came to rest on its top in the north ditch of Highway 46 roughly 6 miles west of Leonard, ND.

Nicholson became trapped in the vehicle and required extraction. She was airlifted to a Fargo Hospital with non-specified injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the state Highway Patrol.
