(NewsDakota.com) The field is set for the 2016 North Dakota Class B Baseball Tournament.

A Play-In Game is set for Thursday, May 19 at 5 p.m. Townsend Field in LaMoure as #6 LaMoure-Litchville/Marion (2-10) faces #7 Fargo Oak Grove (1-11).

The tournament then shifts to Central Cass High School in Casselton on Saturday, May 21. #3 Northern Cass (8-4) faces the winner of the Play-In Game at 11 a.m. Twenty minutes after #4 Enderlin/Maple Valley (7-5) meets #5 Oakes (5-7). After another twenty minutes, #2 Central Cass (9-3) meets the Northern Cass/Play-In winner, and twenty minutes after game three, #1 Kindred/Richland (10-2) meets the winner of the EMV/Oakes contest.

The two remaining teams will play a best-of-three Championship Series at the higher seed on Monday, May 23 with games one and two. If a third game is needed, it would take place Tuesday, May 24. The winner of the series goes to the State Class B Baseball Tournament at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo the following week.
