N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Williston woman was killed after a John Deere Gator trapped her against a wooden fence post on Monday, May 30th.

Sgt. Les Lokken with the North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that the 69 year-old woman was found between a wooden fence post and the vehicle on Monday. The incident occurred on private property 15 miles East of Williston and a half mile South of Highway 1804.

It’s believed that the UTV rolled downhill when the driver attempted to get back into the Gator. The vehicle was found in neutral with the ignition key in the on position.

The crash remains under investigation.
