N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 9th Annual Running of the Pink is set for June 4th and is prepared to be the biggest one yet.

Running of the Pink is an annual 5K walk/run and 10k run created by Casey Stoudt of RM Stoudt. The run was created to directly benefit breast and cervical cancer needs. BDC Coordinator Tara Kapp stated that the run was created to add another charitable event in Jamestown.

Kapp pointed out that the first run had a decent turnout, but the last turnout was outstanding with the runners raising nearly $42,000 for their cause.

The run will be raising funds that will stay in the community. Partnering up with Central Valley Health and the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, the goal is to make sure no one goes without proper screenings and assistance for breast and cervical cancer is provided.

The run is scheduled for Saturday, June 4th beginning at 9:00 AM. You can call RM Stoudt to register at 701-252-2270, go to stoudtcars.com, or stop in at their Jamestown location. They will be accepting registration up through the day of the event.
