N.D. (AP) — North Dakota’s Game and Fish Department is once again offering a certificate that helps children remember the first fish they ever caught.

There’s no qualifying weights or measurements for a First Fish certificate. The only requirement is the successful landing of a fish in the state.

The free certificates are available to anyone who requests one. They have room for information such as name, age, lake and a short fish story, along with a blank space for a photograph.
