CITY,ND (NEWSDAKOTA.COM)-The Valley City High School Volleyball Team traveled to Bismarck for their season opening tournament over the weekend. Over the 2 day event The Hi-Liners posted a 4-2 record. Friday they defeated Mandan 2-1 and Dickinson 2-1 while suffering a loss to Minot 0-3. On Saturday they had wins over Williston and St.Mary’s, their only loss was at the hands of host Bismarck. The Hi-Liners were forced to play all 6 matches with a shortened bench, head coach Jill Taylor felt her team was able to adapt to the situation
