(NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown hockey team hosted an exhibition game against NDSU at Wilson Arena for their first ever home game. The Jimmies scored four times in the second period and rolled to an 8-1 victory.
Jamestown’s first goal came on a short-handed breakaway by Cameron Todd.
NDSU cut the score to 2-1 about halfway through the second period, before the flood gates opened. Cole Zimmerman found the back of the net twice to expand the lead.
Jamestown is back at home on Saturday night against NDSU. The first regular season game is September 23rd vs. Midland.
