N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown teen was injured after the truck he was riding in shifted Saturday morning.

According to Sgt. Tom Herzig with the North Dakota Highway Patrol, 16 year-old Wyatt Briss was traveling northbound on County Road 65 roughly 9 miles west of Jamestown. At around 11:10 AM, Briss was maneuvering a turn when the trailer tires drove off the edge of the road. The trailer loaded with soybeans shifted towards the ditch and truck rolled onto its side, causing loss of the load.

Passenger Lukas Rosenau, 16, of Jamestown was injured in the crash and transported by ambulance from the scene. Briss was issued citations for care required and operating a vehicle outside of that allowed by license.

The crash remains under investigation.
