CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The first phase of permanent flood protection for Valley City was completed earlier this year near the VCSU campus now city officials are getting ready for the second phase.
KLJ engineer Chad Pedersen told the city commission about the time table of the next phase.
The city commission approved of the preliminary design for engineering on the project for a total cost of $930,000 during their October 4th regular meeting.
The cost share ratio is an 85/15 split with the state water commission picking up the lion share of the cost.
