(NewsDakota.com) -The LaMoure Loboe volleyball team is again on top of the volleyball world with a thrilling five-set victory over Our Redeemer’s in the state title match, 3-2 (25-19, 25-16, 21-25, 17-25, 15-8).

ORCS stormed back to force a fifth set and Laurie Good told her team it was time to play with some heart and they responded. Freshman Ellie Holen had a trio of kills and a pair of great defensive plays to help the Loboes gain control of that final set.

Anna Holen, lead all players with 31 kills, had the decisive tip over the blockers that dropped in to secure the title.

LaMoure was in control through the first two sets, but Morgan Olson started rolling for ORCS and hit them back into the match. She had 14 of her team-high 21 kills in the third and fourth sets.

Jackie Meiklejohn dished out 42 assists.

The Loboes graduate three seniors but bring back a strong core for 2017 as they will try to defend their two consecutive titles.
