CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Grand Opening of the million dollar Gaukler Family Wellness Center in Valley City was held November 30th.

One of the major contributors, George Gaukler said he and so many other people in the community worked hard to make this project a reality.   

Valley City mayor Dave Carlsrud talked about how the Wellness Center and so many other construction projects this year benefit the community.

Valley City State Student Senate President Jordan Bushaw believes this facility is a benefit to the university and the community.

Valley City Park and Rec Director Tyler Jacobson said the response from the community about the Wellness Center has been overwhelming.

The Valley City Park District runs the Gaukler Family Wellness Center and Valley City State University pays rent for classroom space.
