N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown choirs will be presenting their annual Christmas Concert at the St. James Basilica this weekend.

The University’s Concert & Chamber choirs have been preparing since homecoming for their Christmas Concert. Dr. Aaron McDermid is the Director of Choral Activities at the University. He says most of the choirs are made up students who major in other studies.

Dr. McDermid stated that the concert is designed with the holidays in mind. He says with all the hustle and stress of the holidays, it’s important to remember the true reason we celebrate this time of year.

The concert will be held December 9th, 10th and 11th at the St. James Basilica. Times are 7:00 PM Friday and Saturday night and 2 PM Sunday afternoon. Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased at the University of Jamestown Box Office or at the door.
