CITY, N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) Valley City State University will hold its second winter commencement exercises on Thursday, December 15th at 3:30pm inside Vangstad Auditorium on the VCSU campus.

VCSU Marketing Director Greg Vanney said approximately 75 students will be eligible to participate in the ceremony. He said remarks will be presented by VCSU President Tisa Mason and Greg Stemen, VCSU alumnus and member of the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education.

VCSU student Richard Langdeaux will provide the undergraduate reflection. A biology education major from Rosebud, South Dakota who ran cross country and track for the VCSU Vikings. He also served as an R.A., a Viking Ambassador, a New Student Orientation leader and a member of Student Senate.

Andre DeLorme, professor and chair of the VCSU Department of Science and director of the Prairie Waters Education and Research Center will give the winter commencement address.

Valley City State University will hold its 2017 spring commencement exercises on Saturday, May 13.
