CITY (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City High School Gymnastics host The Hi-Liner’s Holiday Invite Friday night. The Hi-Liners welcome Century, Legacy, Bismarck High School, Dickinson and Minot. Last week in their first home event of the season VCHS bested Mandan and Wahpeton scoring a 139.95. Mandan was 2nd with 116.32 and Wahpeton 3rd with 111.75 

Individually Valley City took the top 5 spots in the all around. Taylor Johnson was 1st winning the beam while placing 2nd in the vault, bars and floor. Michaela Thibert was 2nd in the all around placing 1st in the vault, bars and floor. She placed 5th in the beam. Grace Anderson claimed 3rd in the all around. She took 2nd in the beam, 3rd in the floor, 4th in bars and 5th in vault. Hannah Sorensen was the 4th place finisher, she was 3rd in bars, 5th in floor, 6th in beam and 7th vault. Finishing 5th in the all around was Jocey Kriewald with a 3rd place vault finish, 4th place finish in the beam and floor with 5th in the bars.  

The Hi-Liner’s Holiday Invite begins starts at 5 at the Youth Sports Complex.
