N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Cardinals scored 30 points in the first quarter and never looked back as they defeat the Imperials of Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter on Thursday night 78-39. Carrington improves to 2-0 overall, NGS drops to 1-1.
Junior Point Gaurd Garrett Bickett led the way with 22 points for Carrington, including four 3-pointers. Junior Jayden Shipman added 12 points. Sophomore Payton Smith had 14 points off the bench. NGS was led by Bryce Fettig with 12 points.
Next up for Carrington will be on Saturday, December 17th in Carrington for their first home game of the year against the Wildcats of Benson County. JV starts at 1pm, Varsity set to tip at 2:30pm, coverage on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com will start about 2:15pm.
