N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Lady Cardinals had the lead 36-12 going into halftime last night at Carrington High School, and outscored Midkota 39-13 in the second half to get the victory 75-25. Carrington improves to 7-0 and 1-0 in District 5, Midkota drops to 0-7 and 0-2 in District 5.
The Lady Cardinals had a balanced attack again, leading the way was Freshman Bella Hone with 15 points and seven rebounds, followed by Jill Endres with 12 and Haley Hewitt with 11. Emerson Hoornaert had nine points and six steals, Hewitt had five steals. Abigail Jarrett had four assists.
Next up for the Cardinals will be Tuesday, December 20th in Pingree against RV (recieved votes for top 10 teams in ND) Medina/Pingree/Buchanan. Pregame will start about 7pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com, tip at 730pm.
