N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals Boys Basketball team played their third game of week on Saturday afternoon against the Wildcats of Benson County, the Cardinals jumped out early and took a 35-22 halftime lead and won the game 71-52.  Carrington improves to 3-0, BC drops to 0-3.

The Cardinals had four players in double figures, leading the way was Junior Garrett Bickett with 20 points, including two 3-pointers.  Junior Hayden Schmitz had 13 points off the bench, including three 3-pointers.  Two players had 11 points each, Kolton Vetter and Bryce Edland.  Leading the way for Benson County was Sophomore Keaton Nelson with 25 points.  

Next up for Carrington will be on Monday back at home against Dakota Prairie for a non-region match-up.  AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com will have the pregame about 7pm, tip off at 7:30pm.
