N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Tory Hart, Bank Forward market president for Bank Forward Jamestown, announced that Bank Forward recently made a donation to the Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC). The donation will be used for the Building Community Capital Campaign.

“Through generous donors like Bank Forward, the Building Community Campaign is moving closer to making Phase II a reality for Jamestown and the surrounding area,” notes Amy Walters, TRAC facility manager. “We are grateful for Bank Forward’s investment in Two Rivers Activity Center as we work to improve lives in our community.”

Two Rivers Activity Center is a state-of-the-art recreation center designed to support health and wellness for all ages. Their cause is to make the Jamestown community the best place to live and play by providing resources, programs and opportunities that promote health and well-being. Their work focuses on; health and wellness programming, recreational and leisure activities, and youth development.

Construction began in April 2016 on Phase I that when complete will be slightly over 132,000 square feet of indoor space to include an aquatics center (water park, lap swim area, lazy river, warm water pool, hot tub and sauna), childcare with classrooms, cardiovascular and strength training equipment, group fitness classrooms, multi-use courts (basketball, volleyball, tennis and pickleball), walking/jogging track, multi-purpose field turf, and meeting rooms. They expect to open to the community in September 2017.

The Building Community Capital Campaign was formed to support construction of Phase II including outdoor water features, additional multi-purpose court space, an indoor playground for toddlers, racquetball/wallyball courts, a climbing wall, and an endowment fund to support TRAC into the future.
