CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Sawyer woman was injured after a rollover west of Valley City Monday morning.
The Highway Patrol reports that Mara Jo Roteliuk, 18, was traveling westbound on I-94 when she fell asleep at the wheel and drifted towards the median. Roteliuk abruptly corrected, causing her to lose control of vehicle. The vehicle rolled as it crossed the median and across both eastbound lanes before coming to rest on its wheels in the south ditch.
Roteliuk was wearing her seatbelt and was injured in the incident. She was transported to Mercy Hospital in Valley City and was cited with care required. The crash remains under investigation.
