Former Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson Retirement Party

 CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The retirement party of former Police Chief Fred Thompson was held January 12th in the Valley City Hall commission chambers.

The city announced Thompson’s retirement in December of 2016 after he served nearly five years as Police Chief of Valley City.

Meanwhile the city commission  will consider a motion to promoting Acting Police Chief Lt. Phil Hatcher to Police Chief effective immediately during their regular commission meeting on Tuesday, January 17th.
