N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Prairie Paws Rescue, a non-profit animal foster organizations, reports that they’ve helped over 150 animals in 2016.

Kaye John with Prairie Paws says that the numbers aren’t final at this time and they’re always looking for volunteers and financial assistance.

Prairie Paws also took the lead on the Barnes County animal abuse, where over 60 dogs were seized after being found in an abusive situation.

The group is currently preparing for their annual Paw-sta Paw-looza, which will raise money for them to continue fostering animals into the new year.

The event will be February 4th at the KC Hall. Tickets are only available in advance and all proceeds will assist the organization.
