N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High basketball teams welcomed the Century Patriots to Jerry Meyer Arena and the dominance continued.
GBB: #1 Century 72, Jamestown 40
The top-ranked Patriots got 20 points from freshman Lauren Ware as they outscored the Jays 39-21 in the second half. The loss for the Jays snaps a 4-games WDA winning streak, who finished their first trip through the double-round robin schedule with a 4-5 record.
BBB: Century 58, Jamestown 46
The score was tied at 15 about halfway through the first-half, but the Patriots went on an 18-4 run into halftime. In the second half, Century came out with a renewed focus and scored the first eight points. UMary commit Lucas Mayer lead the Pats with 18.
Boden Skunberg had 17 to lead the Jays. Adam Reiten played his best game of the year and added 11.
Jamestown hosts St. Mary’s next Tuesday.
