CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Commission approved a plan to improve seven city owned parking lots in 2017.

KLJ engineer Eric Gilbertson talked about some of the areas in the city.

Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph says the estimated cost of the project is $600,000. He says several businesses would share a total assessment of 10 percent or $60,000 under the plan.

A public meeting about the project is set for February 7th at 7pm inside the city hall commission chambers.

The Valley City commission approved of the plan by passing three resolutions during a special city commission meeting on Tuesday, January 24th.
