(NewsDakota.com) Tyler Voightman had a career high 34 points as the Oakes High School boys basketball team won their first Class B District 5 game of the season with a 67-55 victory Tuesday night against LaMoure-Litchville/Marion.

Voightman had 17 points in the first half, including three three-pointers. Oakes (3-10, 1-3 District 5) had a 23 point lead after the third quarter; spurred on by a 6-0 run to start the quarter, before the Loboes (3-12, 1-3) worked their way back in the final eight minutes. LLM had a team high 15 points from Alex Klever.
