CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 16 teams and 32 hunters participated in the Barnes County Wildlife Federation Coyote Derby hunt on February 4th. 

There were a total of 13 coyotes harvested this year. The largest coyote was shot by Ian Severson and Natalie Koch. The smallest dog was shot by Eugene Sandness, Keith Hample, Rob Sandness.

The raffle winner of the rifle was Mike Thoreson.

Below are the top 3 teams:

1st Place – 3 Coyotes.  Eugene Sandness, Keith Hample, Rob Sandness.

2nd Place – 2 Coyotes.  Dustin Krueger, Nick Olson, Austin Gahner.

3Rd Place – 2 Coyotes.  Justin Gronbeck and Gary Will.
