N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – University students and faculty will have a brand new arena this fall in Jamestown.

The $14 million, 61,000 square-foot Newman Arena is estimated for an August completion date, with practices expected to be held for Volleyball in September. University faculty were given a tour of the interior construction work on Monday, February 20th.

The first sporting event is planned to be a Volleyball match, depending on completion of the project. The arena will be able to hold over 2,000 spectators.
