N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is assisting Campus Security at the University of Jamestown after a suspicious male fled when approached.

Director of Campus Security Elizabeth Kapp reports that at around 3:15 AM Wednesday, the night shift campus safety officer located a suspicious male walking around locked buildings.

“When he was approached, the suspicious male ran away from the officer,” Kapp reported. “The campus safety officer called the Jamestown Police Department for assistance to locate and identify the male. He left footprints that led off of the campus.”

The man is being identified as a white male wearing a dark colored carhart coat, facial hair around the mouth, jeans, ariat work boots, approximately 5 foot 10 inches and weighing around 130 to 140 pounds.
