N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission approved the outside hire of Mercer County Sheriff Dean Danzeisen to conduct an instigation of claims made against Stutsman County Auditor Casey Bradley.

In January, Stutsman County State’s Attorney Fritz Fremgen had asked the commission to contract with the Village Business Institute to investigation allegations from a former county employee that Bradley had created a hostile work environment. It was later approved to terminate the contract because commissioners said it violated the county’s personnel policy.

Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser has more information.

Sheriff Kaiser believes Sheriff Danzeisen will have the investigation completed by the end of the week.

The findings will be reported at the next Stutsman County Commission meeting.
