N.D. (Newsdakota.com) – The Friends of the James River Valley Library System are establishing a Spring 2017 Membership Drive.

According to the group, their goals are to increase awareness of the importance of the library in the community, advocate the renovation and expansion of the library and raise funds to assist with it. The Friends of the JRVLS are hoping to expand their membership to include individuals and businesses that understand and support the essential role the library plays in the community.

Membership applications are available at the Alfred Dickey and Stutsman County Libraries.

The group has several upcoming events for those interested. They will have a booth at the Spring Home & Garden Show April 22nd & 23rd and Love Your Library Week will be April 24 through the 28th to help bring attention to their programs and opportunities.
